(open to Jericho, Shi-chan, and Minoru)
The Christmas Masquerade... Addie had been looking forward to this event for weeks. Thank goodness she still had her Sailor V compact. Even though she had recently given up fighting, she still charged it in the moonlight. With it, Addie could transform in a microsecond into anything of her desire. Only now, it would be into the belle of the ball.
"Crescent Moon Power, transform!" Addie exclaimed. With a flash of silver light, she was suddenly standing in her bedroom wearing a very expensive gown and mask. True to her nature, though, she had also donned a red bow. Even if she did have to kill Higashi-sempai, he was right in that she looked better with a bright red bow in her hair. And her Sailor V mask, with a few adornments, was coming in handing outside of fighting. Always strange how that seemed to work out.
With a sigh of excitement, Addie sprayed some perfume and walked out the door. How she loved the holidays. Christmas was always the best time of the year.
A few moments later, she stopped. She didn't have anyone to go to the masquerade with, though. Eighteen years old and single. The thought was quite damaging to the former goddess of love. Though she knew that she would always give up love in exchange for duty, the fact remained a tad harrowing to Addie. How was she the present incarnation of Venus, of all people, if she didn't even manage to get a date for the masquerade?
Nonetheless, Addie stood straight and continued on her way to the masquerade. She wasn't going to stand here and feel sorry that she didn't have a boy to go to the dance with. She was going to go to the dance, see Minoru (maybe even wrangle a dance from the cat when he wasn't a cat), and have an awesome time. She could guarantee that for herself as well.
For a moment, Addie's thoughts rested on the other Senshi. She remembered them, all of them. Especially the Moon Princess and a brunette girl with a red uniform. Why did they crop up in her memories so? Why did she feel as if her life had come to a stop now that the Dark Agency had been overthrown? It was nearly as if she could hardly exist without them, though until she had awakened fully as Venus, she hadn't realized they even existed, let alone that they were her dearest friends in a past life.
And then Addie remembered she'd forgotten to get Artemis a gift. "Oh, crap!" she thought, midstep. Well, maybe it would be better if he remained in his cat form after all, she decided as she opened the door to the dance.
