PERSONALITY: Crazy.
That's a word that's commonly used to describe Izumi. She's not crazy in the sense that if she's devoted to you she's devoted devoted, like will worship the ground you walk on and if you cross her will go ninja on your ass but... Actually, that's pretty much her style of crazy. If she loves you enough to be like what was just described, you're a god/ goddess in her eyes. There wouldn't be much that you could do wrong in her eyes unless it gets personal. And if you aren't her love and you do cross her, she will get scary or at least as scary as a teenage girl with no life can get.
Other reasons as to why Izumi is called crazy is that she has various mood swings that are spontaneous and sometimes, at random. She could be happy and joyful one second then screaming bloody murder the next. Maybe it's because she's so hyper-active, rarely slowing down to take a breathe. She rushes, acting as if a billion things are going on at once and if she stops she'll miss something. She even talks in a rush, saying a few dozen things at once. It's hard to interrupt her when she's speaking because she talks to much and bounces between subjects that she doesn't hear anyone else half the time.
No matter what mood she's in though, Izumi's a gullible girl, very much so. She's a pretty convincing actress/ liar but when you throw it back in her face... She's gullible. It's not hard to convince her that a lie is true.
Izumi's also a very bubbly person. Very peppy too. She tried out for the cheer squad once and although she didn't make it, the pep stayed with her.
One trait that about Izumi that would surprise people is that she's smart. She has her ditzy "say what?/ huh?" moments but she's actually a pretty smart girl. She studies hard and doesn't slack off. The only time her grades truly fail is when she's to busy or distracted trying to do something else.
Izzy loves the thrill. She loves that exhilarating feeling when your heart pounds, you're excited and, well all of that. She mainly gets her thrills from reading comic books that she loves, video games that have a magnificent story line, and amusement park rides. She's without a doubt the kind that would throw up after something dizzying, but she's also the kind that would go on any type of ride no matter how scary. She'd even drag the less reluctant on just for the fun of it. Izumi loves to have fun. It's her motto. Have fun! Or... If you're not having fun you're basically dead in her eyes. Everything she does she wants to have fun with, except school. That's just not fun to begin with. But although her dislike for it is strong, she studies and is smart enough to have skipped a grade a few years ago.
Izumi doesn't take much seriously. Life's sort of like a adventure to her. A fairy tale. Or a comic book.
Another thing about Izumi is that she has Peter Pan syndrome. It's not an actual syndrome and Izumi hasn't been officially diagnosed with it but once you meet her, it's not hard to see that she's a child at heart and always wants to be a child. Izzy doesn't want to ever grow up. She wants to live forever as a blissfully innocent child; if only it were possible. Even if it's not, in her head it is. She believes that no matter how old she gets, she'll still be a child forever and ever and ever-.
Overall, Izumi's just a very quirky girl that doesn't want to hurt a fly, and if you hurt one infront of her, she'll scream. She may act one way then another a second later, and she may like one thing but not like it the next day, but no matter what she's a nice girl. Kind. Sweet. Generous in a way that she'll give something up without much fight, but will mutter about it and sulk while doing so. She may not be the most trustworthy either, except if you're her idol of course, but she's not a terrible person to be around. She just takes some getting used to.

HISTORY: Izumi Eri Miyoko was born on August 20th to two loving parents. At least... That's the lie that Izumi tells herself. Her family had never been a happy family. Her mother had left her and her father when she was just six. She hadn't even bothered to say goodbye. She had just packed up one day while Izumi was in kindergarden and her father at work and left, possibly the country. She had never seen her parents fighting much, but being that it was so long ago it's hard to truly remember. All Izumi knows is that her mother left and that's that. There was never much talk of the subject after that. It's sore to her father and no matter how much Izumi wants to know what happened it's a sore subject for herself as well.
All her life, Izumi had been one of the "good" people. She was rebellious, but good natured. She didn't start becoming a little odder until she met some new friends which, after she got to know them, had introduced her into comics and the like early on, around the age of nine. When she got introduced to them, her world turned into a comic book, at least it did in her eyes.
Following her love for comics, she started loving super heroes in general, the villains, the stories surrounding them. Anime's, manga's, novels. Before this, Izumi wasn't even a fan of reading. She had thought that it was for, well... Smart people. And although she only truly likes books with a fascinating tale, she started to do better in school, learning to actual read the books the school gave its students. History was, and still is her most liked subject because of the tales of the past. And art because she just loves to draw. Gym. Science sometimes. Everything else though; boring.
With how she started to study more, around the end of fourth grade she had been able to skip so instead of going into fifth next year she went into sixth. Izumi thought that if she skipped, it be one less year to take in the overall twelve so wanting to get out of school as quick as she could she agreed. It left some of her friends mad that they'd leave her behind, and some had left her as a friend, but Izumi doesn't regret the decision.
Now, Izumi's stil succeeding in school, averaging A's and B's, and she's still as fascinated as ever with the fantasy world. But with the recent attacks and disappearances, Izumi's sort of become worried. Maybe a little to much... It has her wishing; if only there were a hero to save the day.
