ANYTHING ELSE WE NEED TO KNOW: PERSONALITY: Amami's an interesting child, she may be lonely, cold, distant, quiet and much more. But, even if she's never had friends, she knows the feeling of devotion and can tell from observing for a bit over the years, friends like someone who is motivated to be near them, and devoted to their friendship. So, she does her best to comfort them, make sure they have everything they need while still giving them their space. Yet, it seems Amami is also highly devoted to studying, since most of the time its all she could do in the hospital. But, she backs down a bit showing some slight gratitude towards a person for being her friend, and such making sure not to seem like a big stalker. Maybe its a bit of a leap, but she's an outcast, loner, secretive and all around weirdo. So, obviously you cannot blame her for wanting others to approve of her, before she even starts talking. If they seem nice, and speak with her then she sees the person approves of her somewhat, but if they spend time together once more she truly feels accepted. Since being small and realizing her sickness would get in the way, she wanted to keep going on but eventually returned to school, which helped her see how socially awkward and how much social approval she needed. She's different than most, and some of her traits contradict but this doesn't mean, Amami has no balance with it comes to things. She's a loner, and feels she always be one, but she knows everyone cares for her. So, this is why she's so forgiving towards others, who show her kindness. Yes, she's a bit honest, very distant due to the loneliness, blunt, selfish at times, and way too shy for her own good. But, she knows most manners, and is highly mature for her age. Sadly, the pain of feeling alone for so long, makes her stay away, and well act the way she does, so she won't have to feel it anymore. But, even though this girl seems to be a mix of emotions, she still tries to be friendly towards some people, and especially helpful...since well she is grateful after all, which leads to her soft spoken voice, and studded words. Its only when she nervous, since her social skills are still being worked on. Strange enough, she tends to get jealous of others who make friends quicker than she does, and well better than she does too, since she wants friends, though that might be hard since she keeps secretes mostly things about her past to herself so others won't worry and well pry into her life. Either way, Amami can be a bit hard to explain at times, though more noticeable than she assumes, which in this case is good for her. HISTORY: [STYLE=width:345px; font-family:georgia; color:8D8D8D; font-size:40px; text-transform:lowercase; background-color:bbbbbb; padding:3px; text-shadow: -1px 0 #000, 0 1px #000, 1px 0 #000, 0 -1px #000; letter-spacing:2px; border-left: 10px solid #000000;]OUT OF CHARACTER[/style]Amami was always a fragile child, she wasn't allergic to light, or anything of that matter just plain frail. Her parents never worried much of it, they knew their child would live and so she did. Her parents once checking in with doctors, let her venture into the world. But, it seemed the world just wouldn't let her see its beauty for so long as she began to get sick. She was only five, and her parents again began to worry for her health which continued to weaken. Sooner than expected, she began to get better and once again she was let out into the world. Her parents even enrolled her into school, though once more she got sick again this time seizures began to happen. They weren't very long sessions, but enough for her parents to take her out of kindergarten and to a hospital. The doctors examined Amami, and once staying around the hospital for a while, she was able to return home. The seizures lessened, and lessened not as constant but enough to let her go out which happened. But, Amami was alone, she had been out of school so much, she'd never had the time to gain any friends. Eventually Amami, already eight was too old for kindergarten and ventured into elementary school. Now, not many expected this, but Amami skipped two grades not because of her age, but she had studied enough to gain that privilege. Most people stayed away from her, and darned not go towards her when the seizures kicked in. Her parents continued to worry, but she wanted to stay even if they got in the way. Though her sickness returned from time to time, and she had to be pulled out for months on end. The sickness came, and gone again and again before anyone knew it, Amami had begun to study more. Due to her parents constant working, sometimes she was left home alone as well, so she had to find some way to occupy her time. She even began collecting old antiques and such, trying to find an outlet to her situation. Her parents were slightly satisfied with her situation, and let her stay home a little longer. It seemed she had graduated her own way, and once the doctors saw Amami was in good health they let her go, which allowed her to miss more school and just skip more grades. She was already, twelve by this time, and being the appropriate level was nice. Sadly, it seemed as if she hadn't been around them or her parents enough to notice what was polite, and not so polite. She had gained a distant, impolite manner, which worried her teachers and others. So, she got in trouble from time to time, but as the sickness and seizures continued and she spent more time away, those emotions grew and grew. Sooner than expected, she began to become home school, and begged to be around normal kids. But, her parents insisted she stay home till she was well enough to continue going to school. Due to all the school missing, and such once Amami turned fourteen a two years of home schooling, her parents decided that she could return to school and not skip this grade. So. instead of being in Junior High Amami began to eighth grade with a couple of other students. She felt behind and angry, she couldn't go into the appropriate grade, she blamed herself, then her parents, then herself once more. She had been sick for so long, everything around her crumbled especially parts of her education which was needed. Her parents saw this stress their daughter seemed to feel, but knew she would begin to fret out of it. Eventually, once she got into the groove of things Amami began to notice strange times were happening, and although she didn't have many friends to worry about she still began to worry. Even so, she is still studying, and trying to do her best in school considering her sickness, and seizures getting in the way.
