It had only been recently that Rita had recovered her full abilities from Queen Metalia but she was reveling in her new found strength. It was almost like she had shed her fragile human skin to expose her true self beneath and it was utterly liberating. There had been a few loose ends from her past life, but she had taken care of them promptly and with the kind of utter finality that could leave no room for mistakes. After all, dead men couldn't talk, could they?
However, accompanying her powers came the memories from the Moon Kingdom, including the betrayal from Endymion. She had been given another chance and Rita was not about to waste a present like that. Endymion would be hers, whether he liked it or not. She was, after all, Earth's true queen. There was no debate.
First things first, though. She would have to find her generals. They had been Endymion's best friends and would be her best weapons when it came to winning him over. They'd also come in handy if the brat ever popped up again and she had no doubt the senshi would return. They had come to ruin her plans before and if Rita had been given an extra chance to regain what was rightfully hers, they no doubt would have been given the same chance.
Her search had oddly enough led her to a nightclub in the Ginza district. It was a swanky club and not the kind of place you'd enter if you had an empty bank account, but there was no denying it. There was a faint call of muted power coming from someone in the club and she would find out who it was no matter what.
It didn't take much difficulty to skip over the long line in front of Club Genius. The bouncer had a rather weak mind. Rita weaved her way skillfully through the crowd, guided only by the sixth sense in the back of her mind that she was heading in the right direction. One of the generals was here. She was positive and she would find him. Which one was still a mystery, but that answer would be answered in about two seconds. Rita shoved her way through two couples, subconsciously turning the beryl ring on her finger as she laid her eyes on her target.

He could feel a determined glare on the back of his head. He was afraid.
Only hours before had he been feeling confident, so much so that Jaden had decided to bring out the fake ID and his driver's phone number. He needed a party tonight, he thought as he rummaged through his extravagant walk in closet, a good one. He didn't care that it was a school night. He was hardly concerned about homework. And he certainly wasn't thinking about how much trouble he would be in if he were caught plastered and off the wall. What did it all amount up to in the face of a possible fantastic night? His draw to a good club was undeniable, almost strange, but he had no reason to question anything. Not yet.
Soon after contacting a driver, he had been dropped off at Genius, his hair brushed, his smile on, his nice clothes looking crisp, and his wallet feeling fantastically heavy. Tonight would be be a good night. He was absolutely sure of it. He hadn't even bothered hiding his true intent from the driver as he usually did. Why would he tell his parents anyways? Consequences seemed a daydream away, and if the man did utter a word of his plans he'd also be filling out job applications while he did so.
Feeling unjustifiably cocky he made his way into the crowd, flashing his fake ID and a nice amount of money to the bouncer and bartender. Several Denis and hours later, the natural pull he had was no longer aimed at the club, but at someone in the club. Jaden attempted to shove it off, blaming it on the alcohol instead of some inner being struggling to be released.
Until it was in him.
Her stare.
Instinctively he turned around, but slowly so. Already the effects of alcohol were edging off, being replaced by confusion and a noticeable amount of fear. With good reason? He wasn't sure yet, but the young, evil, devilish looking red head coming towards him made his palms sweat. Who was this? He tried to pull her face out of many from his memories, but to his dismay nothing was actually there for him to retrieve. He tingled with dissatisfaction. Anger. Fear.
Soon she was next to him, and he pushed all of the confusing mess inside of him to the side, enough to at least greet the woman. "Hello," his tone was unnaturally respectful in tone, as if he couldn't control the sound of his voice anymore. Anger made itself more apparent, but once again the feeling was pushed away. "Who are you, ginger?" The words came out, and regret washed over him violently, almost causing him to twitch. He wouldn't take it back though. Jaden would not loose control of himself.

Nephrite. Her dear Nephrite. How could she have not known already? He had always been a bit of a cocky bastard and now that she had laid her eyes on him, there was no denying that same cocky energy from so many years ago. He looked a bit different and a tiny bit young, but Rita could look past that and see his true self. He had yet to understand his true potential, though, and obviously had been reborn without his memories of his past life, much like everyone else had. Well that would have to be fixed.
"Names don't matter. You can call me..." she shifted her ring again, looking down at it, "Beryl. Call me Beryl.
She took a couple steps towards him, then around him, letting her hands slide around Jaden's shoulders. Her long nails barely touched him, but it was enough to induce chills. Her other hand slid up to his chin, tracing the younger man's jawline as her mouth slid up right by his ear.
"You look a bit too young to be in here right now. Should I call a bouncer?" Her lips were close enough to his ear for Jaden to feel her breath. Her touch was toxic, feeding foul energy into Jaden's body without him knowing what was happening.

When he asked his question, Jaden wasn't sure that he had gotten an actual answer. This woman made him questionably uneasy to the point of feeling nauseated. He took a breath. "Fine, Beryl, whatever." He tried to take a step back, but found himself pressed against the bar. He rested a hand on its edge, and could feel himself shaking as she wrapped his arms around his shoulders.
"You look a bit too young to be in here right now. Should I call a bouncer?" He winced at those words, shaking his head violently. "O-- Of course not. Are you insane?" He shook his head in disbelief, astounded by how blunt this woman was. "Look, if you know I'm too young to be here, then you should know that you being this close to me is almost illegal." He smirked, bringing one hand to rest on her hip. The other slipped around to rest on her back, and as wrong as it felt still, he kept his smirk visible.
Things suddenly changed.
His head felt heavy, as did the rest of his body. What was this?
What was happening?
Images flashed through his mind. Every time he blinked a new image flashed in his mind. Fire, war, destruction. It made him tremble with fear and awe. "Wh-- what are you..." But his voice trailed off, unable to fight off the images inside his head. Was this a result of too much alcohol finally affecting his brain? No, it felt much too real. His hands slipped from their resting place, clenching tightly next to his sides. He could feel his fingernails dig into the skin of his palms, the sharp pain barely noticeable compared to what was going on inside of his head.
He wanted so much to pull her arms off of him, to run away and go home, or to Zo. Back to America in Los Angeles, but these flashes that plagued his mind became less terrifying, and much more tempting. Still, he ground his teeth together, feeling something inside push its way out of him, as if throwing itself against the barriers of his mind.
He became more and more blissfully ignorant of the pain of it all as each second ticked by. No longer was it all poison to him, instead now identical to nostalgia. Like he was finding a lost friend that had been long forgotten.
His lips fumbled, forming one, barely audible word.
"Nephrite."

Rita rolled her eyes at Jaden's cocky attitude. If it hadn't been for her complete distaste of dictating the dirty work or interacting with her youmas (most of which had sub par intelligence), she would have just dealt with pulling off this plan without her generals. The fact of the matter, however, was that she already had enough on her plate with monitoring her beautiful disease and its products to do everything on her own. Besides, she was never really a fan of executing her evil plans without proper minions to boss around. Finally she had found her first beautiful general and the key to stealing away her sweet prince from the moon whore. Luckily for Rita, the tramp hadn't shown her face and hopefully she never will. Hopefully she was dead for good.
Jaden finally stopped being suck a cocky bastard and she could see his lips moving. "That's right, Nephrite, my dear. That's who you are. This is what you are meant to be. Leave this sad little life behind you and awaken to your true power. Haven't you ever felt like you were meant for more?" Oh, Jaden probably had thought that at some point. That was more than likely what had contributed to his large ego. "I have a job for you but I don't want to hear you whining about anything you may miss in this life. You would be utterly mental to actually miss anything you've left behind, but I don't want any doubts in your mind. I could give you unlimited power, my dear. Unlimited. I can give you anything you want, Nephrite. Just come with me."
