If you're in the mood for a bite to eat on a budget, this is your place. Famous for their senbai rice crackers and "tenpura" fried prawns, the district is great for delicious food without breaking a budget. You can also get some traditional shopping done in the area for things like paper lanterns that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

Board Description
ASAKUSA DISTRICT
If you're looking for a taste of Old Tokyo, or what remains of it anyways, then the place you want to find yourself in is the Asakusa District. Located throughout it are several different shrines and temples, and it's one of the more comfortable districts. Different festivals take place through out the year, but the entertainment prospect of Asakusa isn't very big, though there is an amusement park for you to enjoy.
