KAPPABASHI DORI AVENUE
If you're in the mood for a bite to eat on a budget, this is your place. Famous for their senbai rice crackers and "tenpura" fried prawns, the district is great for delicious food without breaking a budget. You can also get some traditional shopping done in the area for things like paper lanterns that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

ASAKUSA JINJA
A Shinto temple created to protect the Buddhist temple, Asakusa Jinja is one of the nicer temples around. It is also the centerpiece and heart of the Sanja Masturi festival during May. According to rumors, Asakusa Jinja is home to a mysterious priestess who has a knack for predicting the future.

SENSOJI TEMPLE
The Sensoji Temple, also known as the Asakusa Kannon, is the city's largest Buddhist temple. It tends to attract both foreigners and citizens alike. If you decide to make a trip here, make sure to stop by the Thunder Gate and check out the statues of the gods around the temple.
