The Chichibu Yomatsuri Festival is a two night event held just outside of central Tokyo. During the two nights, large floats lit by lanterns are pulled through the streets for spectators to adore. On the second night, a fireworks display lasting over two hours is available for viewing. During the festival, food carts and activities line the streets, most of them selling warm food and sake to combat the chilly Tokyo nights.
